Is it really silver in thermoactive underwear?

Our thermoactive underwear is made of DUO SKIN knitted fabric, which consists of two layers. The outer layer is 100% polyamide made so that its structure facilitates breathing and sweat. On the other hand, the inner layer, which adheres directly to the skin, has silver ions woven into its structure. Silver in ionic form is introduced directly into the yarn, thanks to which it does not precipitate during washing and retains its bacteriostatic properties for a long time. Moreover, thanks to this special technology of enriching yarn with silver, our underwear is safe for people who are prone to allergies or are allergic to silver and its compounds.

At what temperatures are our winter sets suitable?

Our winter sets are dedicated to various weather conditions. Much depends on the individual feelings of the user and the form of activity in the field. However, we can divide the sets into several groups.

Winter sets up to -15 C - (660-O-B / 760-P hunting set, 214-O-B displacement set FLOAT GUARD)

Sets intended for frosts up to -30C - (hunting sets 653-O-B / 753-O-B, 652-O-B / 752-O-B, 651-O-B / 751-O-B, 650-O-B / 750-O-B)

Fishing sets up to -50C (613-O-B / 713-O-B, 217-O-B)

However, it should be remembered that the dedicated temperatures are conventionally and the perceived heat depends on many factors. In addition, it should be taken into account that such parameters are possible while maintaining the THERMO-system system dress code. Where the first layer is GRAFF-Bioactiv thermoactive underwear, the second is warm POLARON-X and the top layer - that is winter sets.

Does the FLOAT GUARD really swim?
You have asked this question many times during trade fairs or trips to the water. You often look at this set with disbelief - since it is so light, softer and more flexible than competing sets, it cannot float on water. Well, the FLOAT GUARD is filled with a special buoyancy insert called FLOAT. It is a technology similar to that used in modern boatbuilding. The cartridge has the form of cut-to-size blocks with a closed pore structure, thanks to which it retains its properties even after mechanical damage. The insert itself is a very thin foam (up to 1mm thick), which, when folded in several layers, creates a specific buoyancy system, capable of lifting even a large angler on the water. However, it should be remembered that the FLOAT GUARD is not a life jacket and cannot be used interchangeably with such equipment. Having this set does not exempt you from having a life jacket on the boat, but most of all it does not exempt you from maintaining elementary safety rules.

To prove the suitability of our set in various conditions, we recommend videos from our tests. The tested set was selected randomly from the entire batch of our production. The first day of testing is "swimming" in the lake. After washing and drying, the set was tested on the river - it retained. the same buoyancy parameters and functionality.

Can the FLOAT GUARD set be used as a personal protection measure?
The FLOAT GUARD set, despite the fact that it is a displacement set and helps to float on the water, cannot be used as a life vest. In a legal sense, it is not a personal protective equipment. It does not exempt you from the obligation to have vests on boats - if required by law. It cannot be used as a "life jacket" during fishing or practicing water sports.

Is the WATER STOP jackets waterproof?

WATER STOP jackets are a combination of two proven solutions: firstly, the POLARON X fabric, which perfectly protects against heat loss, and at the same time is pleasant to the touch, light and hygrobic (practically does not absorb moisture), and the BRATEX membrane that protects against moisture and wind. The BRATEX membrane consists of millions of pores per square meter, built in such a way that the moisture in the form of water vapor is forced out of the garment, but the water from rain or drizzle does not penetrate inside. The jackets of the WATER STOP line can be used in various weather conditions. From year to year, our clients confirm their usefulness both in hunting and during fishing. They also work well during other activities in the field, such as: crossing rallies, trekking, trips to the mountains or sailing. WATER STOP jackets protect against light rain, drizzle or damp mists. They do not get wet during normal rainfall and allow time for a safe haven. It should be noted, however, that these jackets are not typically designed for difficult conditions, and their water resistance parameters cannot be compared to sets designed for such conditions. The main feature of the WATER STOP jackets is their versatility and the possibility of using them in various conditions and that is what they should be valued for.
